The Waltham Guardian newspaper has reported that taxi-targeted crime is on the increase.
As taxi’s are filled more and more with modern amenities such as satellite navigation equipment and various in-car entertainment systems, they have increasingly become targets for theft.
The paper reports that one taxi even had its whole undercarriage removed and its exhaust and catalytic converter stolen.
It is cases like this that show the necessity of a good taxi insurance policy.
