The number of available static caravans throughout the UK is falling rapidly as British buyers have decided to make long-term commitments to holidaying at home.Park Holidays UK director, Tony Clish, believes the fall in static caravan supply is due to the expense of overseas holidays and the promise of a good ol’ fashioned hot British summer.
The market is in fact desperate for pre-used statics, as these are in demand with first time buyers. There are plenty of new statics on the market, but of course these are out of most people’s price range.
