Anybody used to seeing caravans being towed on the motorway has thought about how great it’d be to be able to relax in your touring caravan whilst it was being towed (instead of playing eye-spy in the passenger seat).
Well, for one unlucky couple this did in fact happen — although not out of choice.
A couple from Adelaide, Australia were towed in their caravan after a thief climbed into their car and began to drive with the caravan still attached.
From reports in the Sydney Morning Herald, the experience doesn’t sound as fun as many thought it would be, with the caravan flying over curbs and eventuallycrashing into a parked vehicle. Thankfully the couple are alive to tell the tale.
