A poll carried out by the AA Driving School has revealed that over 50% of drivers believe that, if they had to retake it, they would fail their driving test.Which? Car reports that AA president, Edmund King , has said of the test’s result, ‘it is easy to forget the key skills that qualify you to be on the road in the first place. Drivers, young or old, often lose confidence if they don’t drive frequently.’
The test results have shown that manoeuvring is one of the first driving skills that drivers lose.
King advises those who feel wary of driving to consider a refresher course – many a driving school runs one.
