Sunderland-based boxer, Tony Jeffries (who won a bronze medal in last year’s Summer Olympics) is ready to get back into catering.
Talking to ThePeople.co.uk Jeffries states that, despite moving on, he still misses his catering van: ‘I was thinking about getting a new van and giving my burgers names like Heavyweight Burger or Lightweight Burger if you’re on a diet.’
Jeffries used to own a burger van outside the Stadium of Light and often traded on Sunderland match days. Although boxing is his primary focus he hopes that he can one day open a restaurant in Sunderland.
