Fleet operators could save money with DPT

by Tim on August 15, 2008

Fleet companies using diesel vehicles, such a minibus, taxi and haulage firms, may save money on fuel consumption if they fit a Diesel Power Tuning (DPT) system to their vehicles.

Motorfleet InsuranceMaterials Handling World magazine has written that Titan Travel, after using the DPT system for a trial period, believes that they will make an 8% saving on their annual fuel costs.

Martin Dowd from Randstad, who distribute DPT in the UK, has said that he is excited about the ‘improvements that they [fleet operators] will see – in both cost and environmental terms – by using DPT on their vehicles’.

If you operate a fleet of vehicles, it is important that you have the appropriate level of fleet insurance to protect your vehicles and drivers.
