The National Weights and Measures Laboratory are currently considering the introduction of a two-thirds of a pint measurement for beer and cider drinkers in the UK.
Caterer and Hotelkeeper magazine has reported that the new measurement was suggested by the British Beer and Pub Association (BBPA).
BBPA chief executive, Rob Hayward, explained that he hopes the new measurement will appeal to those who think ‘a half is too small and a pint too big’
