Lottery winner Wally Jinks, has said that not even a million pounds could stop him touring his beloved caravans.
Jinks has been playing the lottery with friend Alex Stringer for over 15 years and it looks like it’s finally paid off.
According to the Guardian, the pair won over £2m pound after matching 6 numbers in a rollover.
Jinks has said he plans to continue using his caravan on the Yorkshire coast — although he has said he’s thinking of upgrading his caravan and towing car — it’s unlikely an increase in touring caravan insurance is going to be too much of a problem! Jinks won’t be the only millionaire on the camp site — footballer Rio Ferdinand is known for his love of UK caravan parks.
The winner has also stated that he won’t be giving up work in order not to let his business partner down. Ironically, Jinks had lost his wallet just before he discovered that he’d won the lottery. His friend, Mr Stringer, said that he would be purchasing a second-hand Vauxhall with his winnings; “You’ve got to keep your feet on the ground”.
