200 taxi drivers get tips from nurses in Liverpool

by Tim on July 31, 2008

[Via Liverpool Daily Post] – it just popped onto our radar that taxi drivers in Liverpool have been given a free day of training in basic first aid skills by nursing and paramedic students from Liverpool John Moores University.

So – assuming their taxi insurance is all up to date – drivers should be able to help a choking or unconscious passenger now. Not sure what there is to choke on if you can’t eat in taxis anymore, but I’m sure there’ll be a few unconscious passengers around..
